An Update From True Happiness Ministries

Back in April, we had the incredible opportunity to welcome our friend Lamech with True Happiness Ministries in India. He shared with us a powerful vision: to reach children across India with the hope of Jesus through Vacation Bible Schools. Thanks to your generosity in our Easter offering, our church was able to help sponsor this effort and we’re excited to share what God has done!

In May, multiple VBS programs were held across different communities in India. Over 38,000 children were reached through more than 10 separate VBS events. Lamech shared that around 70% of the children who attended came from homes with no church background. These kids heard about the love of Jesus, many for the very first time. This effort was a beautiful picture of unity in the Body of Christ. More than 569 churches—from a variety of denominational backgrounds—came together with one heart and one purpose, which was to make Jesus known to the next generation!
