An Update on the Rokassa Project in Sierra Leone
Fueled by the shared vision and teamwork of EduNations, Jericho Road, and World Hope International, the Rokassa Project in Sierra Leone is off to an inspiring start! In just a short time, the campus has seen remarkable progress! A fully completed sanitation system with 36 treatment tanks now serves the clinic, the guesthouse, and the dormitories. Internet has also been installed and the solar project is well underway, with equipment for Phases 1–3 (dorms, church, and guesthouse) already delivered and installation in progress.
EduNations reported that $87,000 has been raised toward the $190,217.66 total cost, leaving $103,217.66 to reach the finish line for the solar work and begin the water project. Some more exciting news is that an organization called Safe Water 4 Africa has expressed interest in drilling boreholes in 2026 at a reduced cost. After visiting the site, their team is confident they can provide a long-term, sustainable clean water source for the campus and the surrounding community. This partnership could transform not only the project’s budget but also daily life in Rokassa for years to come.
As the work moves forward, please join us in praying for all three organizations, as they will be key to seeing the vision through, which will bring a lasting change to the people of Rokassa!
