An Update From Lighthouse Family Retreat

Lighthouse Family Retreat is a ministry that exists to help strengthen families that are living through childhood cancer. Through this ministry, a family walking through the unimaginable—childhood cancer—was able to experience rest, healing, and connection during their storm. 

Lincoln is a young boy bravely battling a malignant brain tumor. As you can imagine, the road has been filled with hospital visits, difficult treatments, and constant stress. Lincoln and his family were able to attend a weeklong seaside retreat, designed specifically for families like theirs. 

There, they were cared for, poured into, and surrounded by the love of Christ through a team that made sure they were seen, known, uplifted, and encouraged. It gave them space to laugh again, to breathe, and to reconnect with one another and with God. 

Lincoln’s mom shared, “I can honestly say I’ve never felt more loved and cared for than I did this last week… I will forever be grateful for this time.”
