Welcome back to the Kingdom Come podcast! Join us today as we explore the captivating faith and mission field of Joe and Kate Vacanti.  Born and raised in Buffalo, Joe and Kate have always had a heart for the city and people who call it home. But, twelve years ago, God also pressed upon their hearts the country of Sierra Leone. Enter Hope Rising (formerly Let Them LOL), an initiative created to serve Sierra Leoneans and their most basic needs. Having grown exponentially, Hope Rising and the Vacantis’ other ministry initiatives have since given birth to so much more than their original goal of just one water well a year.  

From building an orphanage in Sierra Leone to starting a waffle house and local church in the middle of industrial downtown Buffalo, the Vacantis are truly on mission to reach every man, woman, and child with repeated opportunities to hear, see and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
