TheWELL Update: God’s Provision in West Seneca
by CJ Ahrens, theWELL-Ebenezer Campus
With great joy, God is fostering love to His children in West Seneca. After having a turbulent year, to say the least, the response of our church members has brought opportunities to utilize our space as a conduit of God’s provision. From unbelievable turnout at community events to the birth of multiple ministries on campus, we have seen the fruit of our labor bring hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
My wife and I lead our newly-launched recovery group, Re:Generation, on Monday nights at 6:30. Watching the growth of individuals truly being discipled through this program reveals the healing power of the Holy Spirit, even to those who just came for the food.
West Seneca is an amazing place full of caring, generous and eager individuals that love to get involved. Our Community Garden leads growth in multiple ways, bringing prayer and fresh produce to those who may not regularly have access to either. The Ebenezer Help Store is in full swing offering clothing and household items to those in need, as well as adding volunteer opportunities to our community members. Our How Can I Help ministry continues to work on even the most unique requests, as God continues to provide time, talents and treasures to accommodate.
Join us in praying for our community in West Seneca, NY. Pray for our campus ministries so that as we provide help with physical needs, we also build a platform to offer the hope of the gospel message and a loving prayer to all who inquire.
