Community Volunteer Help Wanted

Church on the Beach is an evangelistic outreach to US/Canadian beach-goers. CompassCare Pregnancy Services has ongoing volunteer opportunities and needs receptionists, facility and grounds maintenance, Vision Tour hosts, and administrative support. There are also opportunities to volunteer to help with the Annual Walk for Life and event planning, along with skilled help with plumbing, electric, and painting. Imagine Community Gardens offers many volunteer opportunities any Saturday (10am-12pm) throughout the season. Enjoy fresh air and sunshine while being a blessing to others in the community. Kingdom Bound has more than 400 volunteers serving at the annual festival held at Six Flags Darien Lake Theme Park each year. Lockport CARES needs volunteers who are responsible for greeting, serving, and loving on our guests in our shelter. There are three shifts available (7-10am, 6-8pm, and 8-11pm) and we welcome anyone to come and shadow for a shift. Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission: If you like donning an apron and cooking up a storm then volunteer with NGRM! Kitchen help is always appreciated and our 3M ministry (music, message, meal) is restarting soon. If you’re handy with a hammer, paintbrush, or wrench, we have small carpentry, plumbing, and painting projects right up your alley. Help with the front desk is also needed.
