An Update from World Hope International
Through the grace of God and in partnership with Global Partners, World Hope International recently launched a Community-Based Life-Saving Awareness initiative to serve the Bunong indigenous people in Mondulkiri Province, Cambodia. This initiative aims to bring opportunity, dignity, and hope to vulnerable communities around the world—particularly through efforts that promote health, safety, and well-being.
They recently had the privilege of hosting an awareness campaign led by Dr. Linda Caringal and Dr. Romy Caringal, with a focus on breast cancer screening and prevention. The goal was to provide individuals and families with critical, life-saving information and tools to support early detection and improved health outcomes.
Thanks to God’s provision, they were able to reach 107 children, youth, and adults across six villages and one primary school. They shared that an encouraging part of the campaign was the active participation of 46 women from two local Bunong churches, who engaged deeply in the education sessions and are now equipped to share what they’ve learned with others in their communities.
Over the course of three days, the team worked closely with local leaders and communities, helping to build awareness that will serve as a foundation for lasting impact.
As World Hope continue this journey, pray with us that the seeds planted through this initiative will grow into lasting hope, healing, and protection for those who need it most.
